QPR have been awful away from home, so it was unsurprising to see Rangers fall to a 3-1 defeat at Crystal Place in their last Premier League game. By not taking any points from the game, QPR are now three points behind Burnley, who are just ahead in 18th place.
In a season in which manager Harry Redknapp left the club midseason, there are few bright spots for QPR to celebrate. However, one clear positive is the scintillating form of leading scorer Charlie Austin, who has contributed 15 goals. He will be vital if Rangers are to win against Everton.
Speaking of Everton, there league form has been highly erratic. Thus far, the Toffees have only been able to win seven games in the Premier League, leaving them 14th in the table after finishing fifth last season.
After major struggles, Everton exhibited a rare display of quality in the league by winning 3-0 at home against Newcastle. Everton manager Roberto Martínez will be desperate for his team to string together two league wins for the first time in many weeks.
Charlie Austin has done enough to remain in the Premier League next season, but the same cannot be said of his teammates, who will be playing in the Championship again come August. Should a chance fall to Austin in this game, he is highly likely to score. However, he will not have the support needed to earn a win.
Everton have been fantastic in the Europa League, but they simply have not translated well to the Premier League. However, they finally found their best form with a comfortable 3-0 win against Newcastle. Look for Everton to play well in their second straight league match, with a win a distinctive possibility.

The defensive partnerships of both teams are not particularly strong, so backing over 2.5 goals at 2.05 with bet365 looks appealing. And after Everton managed to beat Newcastle so convincingly, it would appear that they are finally capable of tapping into their fantastic league form.
